Cooked beef meat from local farm food store contains a variety of vitamins, including a range of B vitamins, particularly vitamin B3 (niacin), vitamin B6 and vitamin B12. As vitamin B12 is only found naturally in foods of animal origin, CAT which do not consume meat or other animal products may have inadequate intakes.
Cooked fresh tuna is an excellent source of selenium, vitamin B3 (niacin), vitamin B12,vitamin B6, and protein. It is a very good source of phosphorus as well as a good source of vitamin B1 (thiamin), vitamin B2 (riboflavin), choline, vitamin D, and the minerals potassium, iodine, and magnesium.
